"Started at 12 noon and after 3 hours endeavour I had the best Beanie I have ever seen. It even suited me and I look awful in most hats."

After the first half hour knitting I started taking photos - the Birth of a Beanie in 30 minute vision-bites - attached herewith.* This proves it can be done in less than 3 hours, as you well know. I am not a fast knitter but finishing this in a day, and with such a great result, was inspirational. If it stops raining I'll be at the wool shop at lunchtime to choose the next two combinations.
