When I wrote a column about the joys of knitting I was deluged with requests for my beanie pattern. Here it is. Nina of Christchurch kindly sent photos of the fabulous beanies she made from the pattern – along with pictures of one of her beanies being born. Aren’t they great? Thanks, Nina.

Feedback
"So many people say "I
love her column." Is it because it's about everyday
people and things or because you can always identify with
her story, the people, the feelings? Or is it the thought
provoking reflection on life she weaves into the story which
you can carry with you through the day or week or the smile
it brings to your face? It's all of that and more. For me
and many others, Helen has become a friend through her column." Jane Beales, reader , Taranaki Daily
